News and Information

SDSUniverse is a news and information Web site for the faculty and staff of San Diego State University. The site is published by Marketing & Communications, a department within University Advancement, and is updated weekly.

The site features stories on SDSU’s outstanding faculty and staff, as well as academic, international, research and community programs. It is a central place to find need-to-know information and offers extra resources such as a daily listing of campus events and news headlines.

Launched on Aug. 26, 2002, SDSUniverse replaced a monthly faculty/staff newsletter, the SDSU Insider, and the weekly Announcements e-mail and Web page.

Why SDSUniverse?

With a university the size and breadth of San Diego State, it is a challenge to maintain a constant and consistent connection with faculty and staff. SDSUniverse enhances that connection and helps foster greater knowledge of colleagues and the university as a whole.
